Edition: ENDE 26 (29th edition)

About ENDE

Since the first event in London in 1995, ENDE has become a significant forum in the field of electromagnetic non-destructive testing and material characterisation, bringing together academics, researchers and engineers from all continents with a major goal of promoting exchanges between the worlds of research and industry.

Scope and topics

The scientific programme covers the main topics in the field, including (but not limited to):

  • Sensors and sensing systems from static to THz and coupled techniques
  • Analytical and numerical modelling
  • Signal processing, imaging and inverse problems
  • Surrogate modelling, machine learning and AI
  • Uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analysis
  • Materials characterisation from constitutive properties to inhomogeneities
  • Monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis of mechanical structures
  • Innovative industrial applications

Contributions focusing on problems that open up new challenges and perspectives in the domain are particularly encouraged.

Publication opportunity

Authors of papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit full papers for publication in a special issue of a renowned peer-reviewed journal in the domain. The journal name will be announced in due course.
